Mrs. Esther Pillai, the Principal of Cambridge School, K R Puram is a highly regarded teacher and educationist.

Mrs. Pillai is an alumni of the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University having done her post graduation in English, American & European Literature. With years of teaching experience at reputed schools and colleges in New Delhi and Bangalore, she was for 18 years Senior English Teacher, Head of Department and consequently Vice Principal at the renowned Bishop Cotton Girls School, in Bangalore. She was the Principal of Christel House India, Bangalore, a premier NGO concerned with education for under privileged children, before taking over as Principal of the well-known Cambridge School.

An excellent teacher, Mrs. Esther Pillai is also an experienced Examiner of English of the ICSE & ISC Examination Boards. She has also worked closely with the BBC in 1993 as a Specialist Advisor and Consultant to develop programmes broadcast worldwide demonstrating the usage of English at School levels in India.
