Promotion policy

  1. The progress of the child all through the year will be taken into account to determine promotion. Apart from the child's progress, his/her conduct, attendance, neatness and cleanliness will also be considered when making the final decision on promotion.

Leave of absence and withdrawal of students

  1. Students suffering from serious illness are not permitted to attend classes. Sickness during tests and exams should be informed by the parents in writing supported by a medical certificate from an approved doctor.

  2. No re-tests will be held. However, the aggregate of all the tests and exams attempted will be taken into consideration for promotion.

  3. Letters to explain absence is compulsory. Medical certificate will be submitted for leave availed for illness. 75% attendance is compulsory for all classes for promotion. Please make use of the leave record given in the last pages of the student's diary to obtain sanction of leave. Cognizance will be taken of students being absent from School without sanctioned leave. Students must return on the reopening day as most of the important instructions, syllabus, programmes, selections are done during the first week.

  4. Leave should not be availed during School working days, as it would affect the student's continuity in studies and thus affect his/her performance in tests and exams.

  5. Students being absent from school for a long period of time, without notifying the School authority or taking prior permission will be taken as a discontinued student. Hence, such a student's name will be deleted from all School records.

  6. Parents / Guardians who wish to withdraw their children / wards should apply for TC to the Principal before 01 April, 2006, failing which they are required to pay full quarters fee to receive the Transfer Certificate. Parents who withdraw their children after the first quarter of the year are required to pay full year 's fee. Parents who require admission for their children in the middle of the academic year are required to pay the full year's fee.
