Promotion
policy
- The progress of the child
all through the year will be taken into account to determine promotion.
Apart from the child's progress, his/her conduct, attendance, neatness
and cleanliness will also be considered when making the final decision
on promotion.
Leave of absence and withdrawal of
students
- Students suffering from serious illness are not permitted to attend
classes. Sickness during tests and exams should be informed by the
parents in writing supported by a medical certificate from an approved
doctor.
- No re-tests will be held. However, the aggregate of all the
tests and exams attempted will be taken into consideration for promotion.
- Letters to explain absence is compulsory. Medical certificate will
be submitted for leave availed for illness. 75% attendance is compulsory
for all classes for promotion. Please make use of the leave record
given in the last pages of the student's diary to obtain sanction
of leave. Cognizance will be taken of students being absent from School
without sanctioned leave. Students must return on the reopening
day as most of the important instructions, syllabus, programmes, selections
are done during the first week.
- Leave should not be availed during School working days, as it would
affect the student's continuity in studies and thus affect his/her
performance in tests and exams.
- Students being absent from school for a long period of time, without
notifying the School authority or taking prior permission will be
taken as a discontinued student. Hence, such a student's name will
be deleted from all School records.
- Parents / Guardians who wish to withdraw their children / wards
should apply for TC to the Principal before 01 April, 2006, failing
which they are required to pay full quarters fee to receive the Transfer
Certificate. Parents who withdraw their children after the first
quarter of the year are required to pay full year 's fee. Parents
who require admission for their children in the middle of the academic
year are required to pay the full year's fee.
